About the roleAs the Fleet Manager for HRSG, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient management of the company''s diverse fleet of vehicles in Northern Australia and Timor-Leste. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time position is based in our Darwin, NT office and offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.What you''ll be doingDevelop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies to optimise vehicle utilisation, maintenance and replacementOversee the administration and coordination of all regional vehicle fleet-related activities, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, cleaning and detailing, registration, insurance, and disposalLiaising with clients to determine requirements and providing customers with advice and information regarding vehicle type, purchase or hire rates and obligations and handling complaintsReceiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedulesArranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goodsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fleet management with broader logistics and operations planningDevelop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodiesEnsuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulationsWhat we''re looking forSubstantial experience (3+ years) in fleet management, preferably within Defence, Resources, Transport, or Logistics industriesThorough understanding of fleet management best practices, including fleet optimisation, maintenance, and complianceA working knowledge of risk, compliance, and fleet management systemsProficient in the use of fleet management software and data analysis toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional and multicultural teamsProven track record of leading and developing high-performing teamsMust be fluent in English and Timorese (Tetum).Flexibility to travel overseas and work outside standard hours from time to timeCurrent or ability to obtain unrestricted Australian driver''s licenseWhat we offerAt HRSG, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
