The team enable Toll with the right technology foundations and business systems to grow the business and support our customer needs.The RoleToll Group is seeking a skilled an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney for a fixed term contract to Jan 2026.The Business Analyst collaborates with Operations, Customers, Project Leads, Technical Solution Leads, and various stakeholders to gather, analyse, and synthesise requirements for project solutions. You will manage business and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to innovative and cost-effective IT solutions. The role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of solutions for Global Logistics customers, ensuring they meet agreed requirements.The Business Analyst coordinates project delivery resources, supervises activities, and may provide business process training. They engage with all functions involved in delivering IT solutions, ensuring smooth handoffs at each milestone. Additionally, they build a knowledge base of business and functional requirements, focusing on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS). The role requires managing complexities, risks, and issues in designing and implementing automation and WMS solutions in logistics.As the Senior IT Business Analyst, you will:Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure ongoing engagement and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Business Case Development: Drive the business analysis approach, provide input, and develop business cases by identifying project benefits, operational dependencies, and assumptions.Requirements and Process Definition: Define and transition business needs into business processes and system requirements through process mapping, requirement gathering, and scoping.Project Briefs and Solutions: Lead or assist in creating project briefs to identify benefits, dependencies, and requirements, and develop structured processes for business requirements and solutions within project initiatives, budgets, and timeframes.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and contribute to cross-functional teams from ideation to detailed design, implementation, testing, go-live, and transition to business-as-usual (BAU), ensuring alignment with project briefs and budgets.Risk and Quality Management: Identify potential business-related risks, issues, and dependencies, support post-implementation reviews, and ensure quality assurance for business analysis deliverables, factoring in broader impacts on customers, vendors, and IT.What Were Looking ForIf you are a proactive and experienced professional with a passion for managing technology deployments and ensuring service excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Toll Group.A degree in IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or Business from a recognised tertiary institution preferred.IIBA Core Business Analysis Certifications preferred.5+ years working experience in operational transformation within warehouse and transport environments.Strong MS Office, especially Project and Excel.
