Renowned for our innovation, customer focus, teamwork, and integrity, we continue to drive market leadership and deliver exceptional solutions to our customers.What will You be doing:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our NSW Safety and Industrial (SI) team. As our Senior Business Development Manager, this role will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. You will strategically plan your approach to clients and offer compelling solutions to cater for client''s needs. Overall, you are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships in order to meet sales goals.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Identifying business development opportunities, competitive threats, and changes in customer buying trends within the territory, reporting and responding accordingly and liaising closely with the manager.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring effective management and successful conversion into tangible results.Manage a territory of resellers and end users with a strong focus on retention and growth, identifying new market opportunities and implementing innovative strategies to expand our presence within the existing customer base.Aligning product and service solutions precisely with customer and end-user needs and preferences.Assist the Regional Sales Manager by providing support for the NSW team and its activities as needed.What We Seek:Prior background in roles such as Business Development, Technical Sales, or similar.Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with a variety of people at all levels.Have a strategic mindset and be able to keep key stakeholders engaged in longer sales projects requiring capital investment.Exemplary skills in relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation.A collaborative team player, adept at driving results and contributing to team objectives.Experience and a network within the mining and power generation sectors are highly advantageous.Exemplifies high levels of trust, integrity, and self-motivation.A valid full driver''s license is a prerequisite.We thank you in advance for your interest in this position, however only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.Please note that we are not in the position to sponsor visas for this role.
