In this role you will utilise a solution focused, strengths-based approach to provide short-term counselling and support services (maximum three months) to Hope Streets clients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to facilitate a range of workshops and presentations with young people as well as conduct presentations for staff for capacity building.Please refer to the attached Position Description for more information about the role.ABOUT YOUYou have a bachelors or masters degree of a Social Work, Counselling, Psychology related qualification.You have at least 2 years of experience in providing youth counselling services.You have a sound understanding of youth homelessness and pride on your ability to build relationship quickly with your client group.You greatly enjoy strengthening the capacity for young people to live interdependently and supporting a young person to achieve the maximum degree of self-reliance, stability and self-determination.You are highly competent using the full suite of Microsoft applications.You are able to maintain accurate confidential administrative records and progress notes.If this role sounds like a good fit for you, we encourage you to apply.WE CAN OFFER YOU:Work for a growing, purpose driven organisation + Contemporary, supportive teamAutonomous role + Regular clinical supervision from an experienced psychologistNFP salary packaging up to $18,550 of your salary tax free.0.9 EFT role based at South Morang and working in Brunswick West close to Public Transport and Urban cafesHOW TO APPLYPlease refer to the Position Description attached below.Please provide a cover letter, statement addressing the selection criteria and resume.
