Deliver with integrityWe''re looking for an experienced, values driven leader to take on a critical role in our business; guiding product development, overseeing quality and environmental systems, and driving innovation across the company.As our Product and Innovation Manager, youll work closely with the CEO, lead a small team, and be part of the senior leadership group. Youll own the technical roadmap from end to end; from new product concepts and costings through to compliance, certification, and market success.This is a rare opportunity to step into an established role with a full handover, up to five months, from the outgoing manager.About the roleAs Product & Innovation Manager, youll be responsible for:Leading the development of new products and improving existing onesManaging the product innovation process, from ideation to launch and post-launch reviewOverseeing quality and environmental systems (SQF, Organic, Halal, etc.) to ensure compliance and continuous improvementProviding leadership to a small, capable teamMaintaining accurate product costings and supporting pricing and commercial decisionsSupporting the sales and marketing team with product knowledge, documentation, and trendsActing as a key member of the senior leadership teamThis is a broad, impactful role with a high level of visibility, autonomy, and responsibility.About youYoure an experienced leader with a background in food or beverage manufacturing. You understand the demands of quality systems and innovation pipelines.More than that, you know how to get teams engaged, keep compliance on track, and ensure products meet real market needs.You bring:Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in food or beverage manufacturing (fermentation, vinegar, wine, or similar preferred)Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring technical or quality teamsA solid understanding of quality and environmental systems (e.g. HACCP, ISO, SQF)Proven success in product development, process improvement, and innovationExcellent analytical, communication, and organisational skillsConfidence working across departments from operations to marketing to financeA tertiary qualification in Food Science or related field, or equivalent experienceLeadership with influence Work directly with the CEO and contribute to business-wide strategyAutonomy and variety Guide innovation, quality, environment, costings, systems, and product performanceHands-on impact See your work through from idea to shelfGreat product, proud team We know we make the best vinegar in Australia.
