The ideal candidate will bring strong design expertise across commercial, industrial, and urban development projects, including road design.Key Responsibilities:Interpret and apply current engineering codes, standards, and legislation to ensure compliant and forward-thinking designs.Evaluate initial concepts, refine planning layouts, and tailor design strategies to meet project goals efficiently.Checking and reviewing drawings for compliance with relevant codes, standards, QA requirements, and company drafting practices.Handle grading and drainage design confidently, with solid knowledge of AS2890 and Austroads standards.Work hand-in-hand with internal stakeholdersproject managers, engineers, and drafting teamsto ensure seamless project delivery.Liaise with drafters, designers, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution.Required Qualifications & Skills:A minimum of 5 years Civil Design experienceStrong track record in civil design, with a portfolio that spans urban, industrial, and commercial developments.Experience preparing drawings and documentation for civil works including drainage, roads, and various structures.Strong skills in site grading and familiarity with AS2890 and Austroads guidelines.Demonstrated ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D or 12D and AutoCAD software.Experience applying relevant legislative, statutory, and industry standards in civil engineering design.If you are a skilled Civil Designer ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
