Deliver a sustainable future with WAs landmark urea project!Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project CERES urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training, and business opportunities.We are currently searching for a Contracts Administrator on a 19:9 rotation to join the Subcontracts Management team. Reporting to the Subcontract Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the administration of contracts once they have been awarded. These are just a few words that describe you.ResponsibilitiesContract Management:Lead and manage the subcontract lifecycle from initiation to closureDraft, review, and negotiate subcontracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirementsCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and project teams, to ensure subcontract terms are clear, feasible, and compliantRisk Management:Identify potential risks and issues within subcontracts and propose effective mitigation strategiesConduct risk assessments to evaluate the impact of contractual terms on the organizationVendor Management:Work closely with vendors and suppliers to establish and maintain strong working relationshipsMonitor vendor performance and address any non-compliance or performance issuesNegotiationLead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to achieve favourable terms for the organizationCollaborate with legal counsel when necessary to finalize agreementsDocumentation and ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentationGenerate reports on contract performance, compliance, and relevant metricsKey RequirementsProven experience in contract administration or a similar role, with a focus on post-award managementStrong understanding of contract law and its application in a business settingIn-depth knowledge of procurement processes and project managementStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to analyze complex contractual issues and provide practical solutionsA degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferredOur benefitsWe have created an environment that brings out the best in our people.
