Note this is a fixed term contract until mid 2026.Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy, enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, saving NSW customers $180 million a year, and creating 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.Who you areCourageous. These are just a few words that describe you.The RoleThe People Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the ground portion of people logistics for the Project. This includes staff and contractor airport transfers, inter-camp transfers, and planned town welfare runs. This individual will also backfill for the bus driving team during periods of leave.Your focus will include:Proactively contribute to a safety-conscious work environment.Manage and collaborate with management and Project Controls team on forecasting histograms to plan accordingly.Coordinate bus bookings with the Project Team, including Construction Logistics, OHTL, and Substation teams, to meet transfer requirements.Schedule and monitor bus timetables according to flight schedules to cover all arrivals/departures.Drive as required for emergencies or project needs.Communicate schedule changes via site notices and notice boards.Backfill Travel & Accommodation for R&R coverage and during downtime from bussing duties.Ensure bus fleet maintenance and scheduled vehicle services.Coordinate with the Plant & Equipment team to ensure assets are registered and roadworthy.Manage personnel transport to sites and airports.Update daily bus manifests for all pick-ups and drop-offs.Manage rosters, logbooks, and rest breaks.Organize additional bus services as needed.Manage inter-camp transfer runs for people and goods between project locations.Coordinate driver rosters to ensure all runs are covered.What you will bring to the team:Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating or managing bussing services for remote transfers.A NSW Driver Authority and White Card are required for the role.Were building a diverse workforce.Elecnor Australia is committed to being an employer of choice.
