Operations Team Leader - Existing BusinessOperations Team Leader - Existing BusinessRole title: New Business Team Leader - Existing BusinessA newly created position, reporting into our New Business Manager in our operations division at ClearView! This is an integral role in our business and will be responsible for the proficient management of workflow, quality, service deliverables and team performance as well as developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Role SummaryYou will Lead and develop the New Business team (5 direct reports) to provide a superior level of customer service resulting in the efficient and timely collection of outstanding application requirements to complete new life insurance policies.Primary Key Responsibilities:Lead and assist the development of the New BusinessPeople leadership of direct reportsManage, monitor, and control workflowDevelop, measure and monitor quality targetsIdentify and develop process improvement opportunities and efficiency gains.Provide technical expertise to support the team with case managementLead and participate in cross-business project teams for innovation, automation, and process initiativesHelp manage resource capacity, capability, and performanceAct as point of escalation for stakeholders about service issues/delaysSecondary ResponsibilitiesEnsure team delivers to and/or exceeds service delivery expectations by liaising, interacting, band building relationships with internal and external stakeholders (underwriting, new business, maintenance, call centres, advisers and staff, customers, medical practitioners and other third parties)Data analysis, monitor and reporting on statistics and outputs.Manage resources for additional team accountabilities such as training and development and project requirements.Direct Reports5Key external relationshipsFinancial advisersUHG (United Health Group)Key Internal RelationshipsNew Business ManagerNew Business Team Leader Fastrack New Business & Priority Service & Suspense ManagementOperations managementDistribution BDMs / BDAsProductCall CentreITFinanceLegal & ComplianceQualifications RequiredExperience in people managementQualifications in management or leadership will also be highly regarded.Attributes or Skills RequiredPassionate about providing superior customer service & complaint resolutions.Prioritisation and organisational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven leadership experienceLife Insurance experience (preferred, not essential)Interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain both external and internal stakeholder relationships.Excellent verbal communication and telephone technique ability to lead and close conversation.Problem solving ability.Decision making ability within delegated authority.Ability to make data driven decisionsWhy us?
