To ensure those services are effectively marketed and promoted to customers. Maintaining and building longterm customer relationships. To ensure sales budgets for allocated accounts and or territories are achieved.Requirements and responsibilities of the role:Responsible for Service Sales in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and pacific islands.Cooperate with Delta Services Management, the Sales Department, the Business Group teams, to create new service offerings, and to prepare the new service offerings for marketing and sales.Define service pricing and profitability.Achieve the order intake, sales, price, profitability and growth objectives for the Delta Services business.Maintain Named Accounts, Business Group and Territory sales business in accordance with the designated sales targets.Business Development initiatives within the prioritised Business Groups and Territories, to meet the customers needs and promote opportunities for sales of Deltas services.Prepare quotations, participate in tender preparation, and maintain CRM data accuracy.Maintain close relationships with Named Accounts, discussing customer requirements and creating solutions.Assist in preparing and overseeing preparation of contract documents for recommendation to senior management and then subsequent negotiation with clients.Follow up on any customer complaints about relevant company deliverables, and aim for satisfactory solutions from both Deltas and customers viewpoints.Monitor competitor activities and market trends, and attendance at industry association meetings, seminars and trade functions etc, and effectively communicate market intelligence.Plan and report on customer calls, product requirements and provide regular progress reports and sales outlooks as directed by Delta management.Be aware of the Deltas and your own obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations as well as the companys documented Quality Management system.Participate in sales meetings, ensure accurate forecasting, and attend Manager One-on-One meetings as requested, and ensure effective teamwork and communication.Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical requirements. Comply with the Deltas policies and procedures.Qualifications for the role:4+ years of Sales experience selling into End User accounts and Sales Partner accounts, inclusive of 1+ years of Service Sales experience.Sales experience working at Vendor (OEM) technology companies is desirable, but not essentialTertiary or Trade qualifications in a technical field is essential within the field of electrical, mechanical or mechatronics is desirable.Familiar with B2B sales processes, with experience is developing new service offerings (SOW, Value Pricing, Business Intelligence, Value Selling, etc.)Familiar with selling into complex value chains, consisting of Sales Partners, Distributors, Contractors, Named Accounts, Consultants, across many diverse product-lines and customer segments.Expert knowledge of sales techniques, customers, customer relations, market dynamics and trends, and in-depth knowledge of products and product applications.Understand major competitors tactics, organization, distribution strategy, and pricing while keeping management informed of trends and changes.Skills:Proven ability to operate in an autonomous, self-sufficient environmentProficient and detailed approach in Tender Document preparation and Quote preparationProficient in Microsoft office applicationsExperience using CRM tools for sales territory managementAbility to handle a complex End User and Channel Partner EcosystemStrong communication, networking and relationship building abilitiesHigh levels of motivation and activity levels to apply adequate coverage to major, new and existing accountsCreative mindset to assist with Demand Generation activities to increase service salesDelta Electronics is at the forefront of innovation, providing energy-efficient solutions that make a difference.
