The Production & Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of AGSEAs manufacturing and warehouse facility. The role ensures that production targets are met, inventory is effectively managed, and finished goods are despatched in line with customer and business requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a solid understanding of production processes, warehouse coordination, and staff supervision. The successful applicant will work closely with supply chain, procurement, and quality assurance teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. From logistics coordination to quality control and order processing, the successful candidate will be joining a collaborative environment where help is readily available and shared success is the focus.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Production Operations:Manage daily blending, bagging, and packaging processesEnsure production is carried out in accordance with the master scheduleVerify execution of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and track yield, waste, and material usageMonitor and maintain accurate batch documentation and traceability recordsLiaise with Quality Assurance to facilitate testing and release of finished goodsEscalate non-conformances or operational issues as requiredSupervise plant equipment condition and coordinate required maintenanceWarehouse & Despatch Management:Oversee the receival, storage, and despatch of raw materials and finished goodsMaintain accurate warehouse inventory and documentation of goods in/outOptimise warehouse space and ensure materials are efficiently staged for productionCoordinate truck loading, pallet preparation, and despatch activities in line with delivery deadlinesEnsure warehouse and storage areas meet safety and cleanliness standardsInventory & Stock Control:Maintain up-to-date records of all stock items, including raw materials and finished productsParticipate in scheduled and ad hoc stocktakesSupport coordination of stock movement to and from offsite storage facilitiesInvestigate and resolve stock discrepanciesMaterial Requirements Planning:Work with Supply Chain and Procurement to align raw material and packaging availability with production schedulesPrepare and stage materials in advance of production runsMonitor supply of production consumables (e.g. packaging, PPE, pallets) and raise requisitions as neededTeam Leadership:Supervise production and warehouse staff, assigning tasks and managing workflowsSupport training and development of operational personnelPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementKey Performance Indicators:Production schedule adherence and output qualityInventory accuracy and stock availabilityTimeliness and accuracy of despatch activitiesCompliance with WHS and QA proceduresStaff performance and operational team efficiencySKILLS & EXPERIENCES:Demonstrated experience in production or operations management, preferably in agriculture, food or related manufacturing sectorsPrevious exposure to start-up or commissioning environments is advantageousValid forklift licence and hands-on experience with warehouse equipmentSound understanding of quality management systems, WHS and inventory controlProven ability to lead and manage operational teams in a dynamic environmentStrong planning, organisational, and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and problem-solving abilityAbility to work autonomously and make informed decisionsCollaborative mindset with a focus on operational outcomesAdaptability and initiative in improving processes and systemsWHY JOIN US?Competitive remuneration and employee benefitsCareer progression opportunitiesA safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment, with access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000pa + super #J-18808-Ljbffr
