This is a hands-on role that has a purpose unlike any other.You will:Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines, data models, and data assetsDesign and develop data solutions using Azure Data Factory, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric etcIdentifying opportunities to productise data and leverage data assets to improve new and existing features that exceed our customers'' expectations.Implement data quality, data governance, archiving, and data security measures.Optimise the performance, scalability, and reliability of the data solutions.Manage the full delivery lifecycle, including planning, testing, deployment, and support.Adhere to relevant Defence, Commonwealth, and Domain specific policies and procedures.Collaborate with other analysts, business intelligence specialists, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of the data solutions.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the data engineering fieldDelivering high impact projects that give measurable business outcomes.Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, delivering strategic advice and guiding them through their Data and AI journeys.Candidate''s ProfileIf you have worked in a similar position or just looking for your next opportunity that will make an impact, we want to speak with you.Your background will demonstrate:7+ years working across data engineering, management, analytics5+ years of experience working in complex, regionally distributed organisations, with a track record of delivery and excellenceExperience implementing Data Lake and/or Data Warehouse applications and accompanying data architecture (e.g. Data Models, ETL, data governance, security, archiving, migration)Bachelor''s Degree in IT, Data, Computer Science, Technology or EngineeringTo apply for this position, you must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to maintain an Australian AGSVA security clearance.How to applyIf eligible, please submit your resume; applications are open to all qualified Australian citizens regardless of their background, identity, experiences and beliefs.If you need assistance during our recruitment process, please email our friendly TA team at DFRHRTalentAcquisition@adecco.com.au for a confidential conversation.To apply for this position, please submit your application online through our designated platform.
