We are after a Food Technologist to come in and as part of our NPD team to help create new food products for our clients.This is a full-time role in either Sydney or Melbourne. Remote candidates must be in either of these cities.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Food Technologist at YGF Manufacturing. The Food Technologist will be responsible for conducting sensory evaluations, utilizing food technology, applying laboratory skills, ensuring quality control, and participating in Research and Development (R&D) activities as part of our NPD team.Key Responsibilities:Product Development: Lead the formulation and development of a wide range of food products, including spreads, protein bars, energy balls, sauces, powder blends, TGA listed products, and, drinks, from concept to market.Ideation to Commercialization: Drive the end-to-end development process for new products, from ideation through formulation, testing, manufacturing, and market launch (2-5 years of experience required).Ingredient Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of ingredient functionality, flavor profiles, and textures to create innovative, high-quality, and functional products.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products meet food safety and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, FSANZ).
