Role Overview This is a Sr Procurement Project Manager role supporting AWS Infrastructure Operations based in Melbourne, VIC, AU. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled professional to manage sourcing requirements, vendor evaluation, and procurement processes. Key Responsibilities Administer sourcing requirements for services, materials, and equipment. Evaluate and qualify vendors, issue and manage bids, and support contract implementation. Ensure compliance with local legislation and Amazon policies. Create and track KPIs and reports for controllership and fiduciary controls. Collaborate with internal teams to identify cost-saving opportunities. Support the full Procure-to-Pay process from requirements to follow-up activities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. 8+ years in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation. 4+ years managing category strategies and complex projects. Ability to attain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. Experience in data centers, engineering, or infrastructure services. Proficiency with procurement systems and tools. Global category strategy implementation experience.
