Key Responsibilities: Lead and support a team of toolmakers, technicians, and apprentices, promoting collaboration and professional growth. Provide clear direction for daily operations, including scheduling and workflow management. Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and repair of tools and equipment, maintaining high safety and quality standards. Oversee design, fabrication, modification, and inspection of tools and dies, ensuring compliance with specifications. Maintain accurate inventory records and implement tool control procedures to improve efficiency. Collaborate with customers, engineering, and quality teams to meet or exceed standards. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and team performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of responsibility. Skills and Experience Proven leadership with a history of inspiring teams and achieving results. Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of tooling, machining, and manufacturing equipment. Practical experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming. Excellent communication skills to engage and motivate teams.
