Hollards unrelenting focus on diversity and inclusion, collaborative partnerships, and delivering great customer outcomes is at the heart of its business model, driven by its purpose of Using our expertise, integrity and humanity to go further, together"Your teamRisk and Control Advisory is accountable for group-wide cross-functional supervision of risks within the first line of defence to reduce operational breaches and enhance broader risk culture and mitigate the risk of regulatory intervention.Your roleThis is an exciting opportunity to support the development of the Line 1 Risk and Control Advisory support model for the Technology function within Hollard. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Risk, you will be a key member of a newly introduced team, to support the Technology function with provision of high quality and timely risk advice.Your duties and responsibilitiesProvide advice to the first line of defence on identification and assessment of technology risks and controls.Assist the business with the identification, management and rectification of technology related breaches, incidents, and issues.Conducting risk assessments relating to the onboarding of new suppliersSupport the design, implementation, and assessment of controls across the Technology function to mitigate technology risk exposures and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Assist with the preparation of reports and papers required for internal and external committees and forums.Collaborate with Hollard Risk Management teams (Line 2 and Line 3) to actively contribute to Risk Management initiatives and framework development.Partner with the Technology teams to ensure proactive assessment and documentation of delivered technology risks associated with projects and change initiatives, to deliver a robust control environment.Development and implementation of key risk indicators and metrics for material risks within the Technology function.Provide targeted training and guidance to uplift risk capability across Hollard.About YouMust have substantial experience in Technology Risk Management experience, ideally within the financial services industry.Technical knowledge in technology platforms and practices such as Cloud, databases, applications, networks, cyber security and information security.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to the Australian financial services industry.Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, Economics, Finance or Law desirable.Knowledge of AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 Risk Management standards as well as other technology risk standards and frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, ISO 27000, NIST and ITIL.Working at HollardAt Hollard you will be part of a supportive, valued and committed team.
