Always.We are St Vincents Health Australia, Australias largest not-for-profit provider of health and aged care services.Founded by The Sisters of Charity in 1857, our +30,000 healthcare superheroes operate public and private hospitals, residential aged care, community and virtual care, and outreach programs.About The RolePerform a variety of flow cytometry laboratory testing in an accurate and timely manner.Monitor quality control performance, participate in external QA programs, and assist with internal audits to ensure high standards and compliance.Maintain laboratory equipment, manage reagent and consumable stock levels, and coordinate specimen referrals and report tracking with external labs.Communicate effectively with clinicians, wards, and external sites, ensuring urgent or critical results are delivered promptly and clearly.Work as part of a supportive team, participate in ongoing training and education sessions, apply analytical thinking to solve complex lab issues, and stay current with best practices in pathology.About YouYou hold a bachelors degree or higher in a discipline relevant to Flow Cytometry and pathology, obtained from a recognised tertiary institution.You bring recent, practical experience in the flow cytometric assessment and diagnosis of a broad spectrum of haematological malignancies, immunodeficiency disorders, stem cell samples, and lymphocyte subsets, using advanced multiparameter (812 colour) flow cytometry techniques.You have a proven track record of developing, evaluating, and implementing new flow cytometric technologies and services.Youre an experienced leader, capable of building and guiding a high-performing, efficient laboratory team that integrates seamlessly within a larger organisational structure.Your communication skills are a key strengthclear, professional, and confidentwhether you''re documenting results, training staff, or collaborating with colleagues.Why work at St Vincents?Join us on our mission to provide care to all, including the most at-risk people in our communityDiscounted access to many gyms for you and your family with Fitness PassportAccess to discounted private health insurance with MedibankAccess to a government salary sacrifice program.
