With six offices nationally and partner firms in more than 145 markets, wherever you want to go, we can take you there.About this roleWere looking for an experienced Senior Associate or a Manager to be part of our Restructuring Advisory team in Perth.You will play a key advisory role on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency engagements for a diverse spectrum of corporate clients across different industries, liaising with external stakeholders (including business owners, investors and lenders) and designing innovative and commercial solutions to help our clients navigate and recover from adverse circumstances.Key responsibilitiesManage your own portfolio of high-profile corporate insolvency matters, with support from other team members as appropriatePrepare creditor reports, statutory reports and independent business reviews, and undertake detailed financial analysisAssist with the trading of various businesses, including preparation of cash flow forecasts, calculating employee entitlements and overseeing supplier/customer accountsSupport complex investigations, including source and application of funds, forensic tracing exercises, voidable transactions and insolvent trading reviewsContribute to the growth of team members and be involved in business development opportunitiesSkills and experienceUniversity degree in a related discipline, such as Business/Commerce, Accounting or Finance and/or relevant professional qualificationAdvanced ARITA certification would be advantageousComprehensive understanding of the Australian insolvency regime, ideally with working knowledge of due diligence and investigative business review processA proactive, can-do attitude to problem-solving, coupled with an analytical mindsetHigh degree of organisation and time management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and manage competing prioritiesStrong interpersonal, stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsIf youre interested in this role but dont feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.At Grant Thornton we do things differently because we understand that when you strive for better and care about what you do remarkable things are possible.
