The Property Development team provides comprehensive property project management services within the Qantas Group. The team collaborates with stakeholders and end users to deliver property solutions supporting all facets of the business to meet evolving operational needs and enhance customer experience.Role: Manager Property DevelopmentThis position is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering property-related capital projects, including new builds, fit-outs, and upgrades. The Manager ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, safely, and according to best practices. The role involves managing external consultants, overseeing project governance and finances, and negotiating with airport owners/operators for operational facilities and accommodations.The role also includes developing property development options, updating policies, project delivery methodologies, and managing facility planning and space allocation aligned with Qantas Groups strategic plans.Youll have 5+ years'' experience in a related fieldTertiary qualifications/bachelors degree in a relevant disciplineExperience in aviation is highly valued; industrial and commercial experience is also consideredProven contracting and supplier management skills, including sourcing, negotiating, and risk minimizationProject management experience with exposure to methodologiesUnderstanding of financial evaluation principlesKnowledge of regulatory environments and willingness to expand this knowledgeSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlinesAbility to work independentlyStrong communication skills to convey complex informationAnalytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency with computer systems and databasesInfluencing and negotiation skillsWhy Qantas?Join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
