Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Opportunity:Our client, a leading player in the aviation industry, is currently seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Manager to lead and manage the infrastructure and operations of their specialized aircraft paint hangar. This role is pivotal, providing an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to make a significant impact on daily operations by ensuring all facilities and tools function reliably, safely, and efficiently. You will be critical in maintaining operational excellence and compliance with regulatory standards, directly supporting the Site/Ops Manager in this dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Oversee and direct maintenance and repair of hangar facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenanceManage replacement and cleaning of critical parts such as filtersPromptly address facility-related issuesMonitor, document, and report on water usage, waste, and environmental metricsRepair and service onsite equipment (paint guns, pots, specialized tools)Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities using SAP or similar systemsCollaborate with Site/Ops Manager on facility upgrades and improvementsCoordinate with external vendors and contractors for major repairs or installationsRequirements:Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management (industrial/aviation )Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsExperience maintaining paint equipmentFamiliarity with SAP for maintenance tracking and documentationExcellent problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skillsStrong teamwork and stakeholder collaboration abilityBenefits & Perks:Competitive salary: $90,000$110,000/year (DOE), negotiable for the right candidate401(k) and comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision)Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a leading aviation companySupport for career growth and professional developmentWhy Apply Through Total Aviation Staffing?Total Aviation Staffing connects aviation professionals with top-tier opportunities across the industry.
