With over 30 years experience, Glad Group is positioned as a leader in the delivery of integrated propertyservices across Australia and New Zealand.Job DescriptionAs the Systems Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for managing the technical operations of assets overseen by Glad and the Glad A1 Monitoring Centre located in Rockdale, New South Wales. You will ensure the highest standards of system reliability, safety, and compliance are maintained across all managed assets. Your role will encompass predictive maintenance, process innovation, and the application of technical expertise to support seamless operations. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, contribute to strategic planning, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the operational efficiency and performance of all systems under management.Key Duties:Investigate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance the operational efficiency of integrated facilities and building systems.Review and modify existing engineering technologies, such as surveillance and access control systems, to improve system performance, sustainability, and energy efficiency.Collaborate with technical teams, engineers, and vendors.Apply engineering methodologies in the planning, testing, and implementation of technical projects.Conduct structured testing and evaluate performance of new/modified technologies to ensure reliability and efficiency.Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance with workplace health and safety, and environmental regulations.Assist in engineering assessments of facilities and contributed to the development of preventive maintenance schedules based on technical performance indicators.Implement engineering risk management measures.Lead/support technology-based projects; manage timelines and deliverables.Maintain technical documentation and reporting (compliance, performance, system changes).Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Skills and Qualifications:Must have bachelors degree in engineering, Technology, or a related field.Must have 1+ years in a similar role.Must have experience in the maintenance and compliance of A1 graded security monitoring infrastructure, including redundant power supplies, surveillance systems, and advanced communication networks.Strong understanding of the operational requirements, protocols, and risk management procedures specific to A1 graded facilities.Knowledge of Australian and international standards.Experience in risk management, system design, and infrastructure maintenance.Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.Ability to innovate and integrate emerging technologies into operational systems.Benefits at Glad Group:Salary ranging $115,000 $125,000Career progression through ongoing training and developmentExclusive employee reward and recognition programEmployee Assistance ProgramRegular team bonding eventsWork location: Rockdale, NSWGlad is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer and Champion of genuine action towards Reconciliation.
