Founded in 1911 in Dayton, Ohio, Woolpert we have over 2,500 employees and more than 60 offices on five continents.Your new roleAs a member of a HR team of 5 (including payroll), you will deliver advice and support to people managers and employees in the APAC region on a range of Human Resources disciplines and initiatives including talent acquisition, performance management and building people capability across the business.This is a 12-month parental leave cover based in our Sydney office. This role offers growth opportunities, where the position balances operational HR tasks with HR advisory responsibilities while working closely with the payroll team.Your key responsibilities will include:End to end talent acquisition from vacancy approval through to advertising, employment agreement issue, orientation, on-boarding and probation managementManage the separation process including exit interviewsWork with and coach people managers to resolve performance, disciplinary and grievance mattersSupport the business on employee relationsManage the administration area of workers compensation and return to work coordinatorContribute to global people capability projectsDeliver HR projects which might include the annual salary review, new or updated policies and the staff review processScope to contribute in relation to HR matters from overseas entitiesWhat were looking forTo be successful in this role you will already have prior experience in a similar role together with:3 to 4 years generalist HR experienceExcellent knowledge of HR best practices, Australian employment legislation and modern awardsProven organisational and prioritising abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work autonomously and sound decision-making skillsWhats in it for you?Broad scope for growth with the opportunity to specialise in area of interest for career advancementBe part of a global HR teamFlexible hours and hybrid home/office working environmentEmployee Assistance Program for employees and family membersNovated Leasing and Salary SacrificePlease note that only suitable candidates with a cover letter will be contacted.Interested in joining our team?
