With a strong local legacy and a recent strategic alliance in the US, the business has evolved from a domestic operation into an international player, now boasting a turnover of $80 million and growing.Veritas Recruitment is delighted to exclusively partner with the senior leadership team to recruit a high-calibre Senior Financial Accountant. This pivotal role sits at the heart of the business, based at their head office in Melbournes outer Eastern suburbs, Boronia, and offers genuine scope to influence and refine financial reporting frameworks across the group. This role will be based 5 days per week in the office.Your Role:Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the Global Finance Director, youll lead the charge on improving financial processes and driving timely, accurate, and insightful reporting. Youll play a vital role as a finance partner to stakeholders across operations and commercial teams.Key Responsibilities:Lead monthly financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and detailed variance analysisDesign and manage financial reporting timetables across daily, weekly, and monthly cyclesEnhance and implement month-end and year-end reporting packs aligned with group requirementsEnsure accuracy of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and GL integrityDeliver data-driven insights for tax compliance, audit, and statutory reportingAssist in the preparation of insurance renewals and financial budgetsLiaise with inventory and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reportingManage fringe benefits tax submissions and land tax obligationsAbout You:Youre a qualified CA/CPA with solid post-qualification experience, ideally within a manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment. Youre confident navigating ERP systems, juggling multiple priorities, and you bring a strong commercial mindset to your work.Youll also bring:Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiencyStrong analytical thinking and a hands-on approach to problem solvingExcellent communication skills with the confidence to engage across all levelsA proactive, team-focused attitude and an eye for continuous improvementWhy Join?This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth, globally expanding business with local roots.
