Expect all this and more when you join us at Linfox.What does the job look like?An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and highly efficient Inventory Team Leader to join the Government and Defence Team in Moorebank. The Team Leader will be required to provide support with stocktaking, inventory management, invoicing, receipting, customer service and reporting as well as performing general store duties such as high reach and counter balance forklift operation, RF scanning and pick / pack duties.You will be responsible for managing and motivating your team of up to 15-20 storepeople to deliver operational excellence from all areas of warehouse and distribution including safety, receiving, reporting, inventory management and quality control.Key areas:Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.Providing exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure KPIs are met and exceededCycle counts and inventory dutiesManaging staff issues including absenteeism and performance levelsAssist with quality requirements by accurately inspecting and recording all inbound freight movements into the DCControlling staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements.Liaising with transport providers and the greater warehouse team to ensure an accurate and efficient inbound processAre you the one?Proven leadership capabilities including ability to effectively engage a teamExtensive computer skills Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook knowledgeStrong communication skills and effective negotiation abilitiesExceptional relationship building with customers across all levelsUnderstanding of RF scanning systemsInventory control function knowledge such as receiving, returns, credits, reconciliationDesire to succeed and drive continuous improvementCommitment to Linfox safety culture and valuesWhat''s in it for me?12 weeks paid parental leave and return to work bonus for eligible employeesCareer development opportunities and mentoring programsAccess to a range of benefits across dining and adventure, travel and health and well-beingThe chance to work in a high-performing team where your contributions truly make an impactAt Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
