In this role, youll collaborate closely with the graphics and server teams to deliver seamless and captivating player experiences.Position Summary:The Game Developer reports to the Director of Online Gaming and will participate in the team responsible for Online. This position will be responsible for developing online games as per the Ainsworth Interactive specifications to target multiple platforms and devices.What You''ll Do:In this position, the Game Developer will be responsible for the following primary functions:Developing online games using Ainsworths internal development tools.Working closely with the graphics and server teams to create the best possible gaming experience for players.Participating in game feature design discussions and providing technical input to enhance gameplay.Implementing animations, effects, and user interface elements according to design specifications.Maintaining and updating existing games with new features or improvements.Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to meet project deadlines.Ensuring all developed games comply with regulatory and internal quality standards.Knowledge and Skills:This position will require:Proficient in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.Strong understanding of coordinate geometry fundamentals.Experienced in fast-paced, agile environments.Familiar with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.Proficient in source code management tools such as Perforce, Git, and JIRA.Hands-on experience in UX design and user experience best practices.Experienced in slot game development.Highly attentive to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Collaborative team player with a proactive work approach.AtAinsworth Game Technology, we believe in fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
