As the Senior Analyst, Line 1 Risk People & Culture (P&C), Group Risk and Group Finance you will be at the forefront of our risk management activities within the first line of defence. This role is essential in promoting a proactive risk culture, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the division.You will be supporting and providing guidance to respective Divisional teams on adherence to BOQ Groups Risk Management Strategy and supporting risk management standards. Your efforts will strengthen our control environment, improve our risk position, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will see you work closely with the Business Unit stakeholders that being P&C, Finance and Risk, as well as Group Risk (Line 2) to provide risk advice and perform activities that ensure that risk management practices are performed in accordance with the Banks published standards and guidelines.This role involves close collaboration with various internal teams, including leadership teams, heads of business units, Group Risk, Group Compliance, and Internal Audit, as well as external regulatory bodies and auditors.About youWere seeking someone to join our team with a strong background in risk management, ideally with exposure to either P&C, Finance and Group Risk teams. Youll join us with a proven track record of supporting the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, particularly within the financial services industry.Your ability to provide pragmatic risk advice, deliver risk insights, and support the business in reducing complexity and risk will be key to your success in this role. You describe yourself as being a SME at managing and advising on risk management strategies, frameworks, and standards, ensuring that risks, obligations, and control designs are accurate and meet our requirements.Excitingly this role will see you delivering risk governance activities, including the development of key risk indicators and Line 1 Risk reporting to the divisional risk forums and sub-committees.Working for us is fun and fast-paced, and we are seeking top talent to take us where we want to go.
