As a Creative Technologist, youll work within a team who is helping our clients realise their strategic marketing goals and youll help bring ideas to life in new and exciting ways.Your role at a glance.Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Create award winning digital experiences and products for our clients.Communicate with clients daily and be part of workshops and WIP presentations.Develop and document beautiful frontend code for client engagements.Provide enhancements and ideas for various existing projects.Provide technical support, solutions and recommendations.Keep up to date with emerging, relevant technologies and trends.Does this sound like you?Creator of clean, simple, yet incredibly beautiful & elegant interfaces.An insatiable appetite and excitement for new web technologies and techniques - you''re prepared to give new things a go!Extensive experience working as part of a development team.Advanced understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JS.Solid knowledge of and passion for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), including WCAG 2.0 and WCAG 2.1.Some experience programming in PHP, with exposure to Open Source CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal etc).Experience working with web services to build decoupled sites that pull content from a headless CMS.A good eye for design detail and high standards.Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think clearly and logically.Experience with source control (Git and related services).Can work to deadline and juggle competing priorities.Willingness to take ownership of projects.Available to work on site in our Richmond office.Experience using Node.js based build tools (Gulp, Webpack, Sass, etc.).Experience with mobile web and application development.Integrating major third party APIs, like Facebook Open Graph, Twitter, Google Maps, etc.A track record of working with Node.js, WordPress, Symfony and/or Drupal.A sound knowledge of SEO techniques and principles.Knowledge of or experience with marketing theory and how your discipline adds value.What you can expect if you become a team member.Working at August is not just another agency job.
