Responsibilities include the processing of end-to-end payroll function, collection of timesheets, month end reports, payroll journals, statutory requirements such as payroll tax, work cover, superannuation and PAYG. In additional, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.*Please note this is a Permanent Part-Time Opportunity (Monday-Thursday).Key Responsibilities:Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll as required (including the interpretation and application of various awards)Ensure relevant statutory documentation and payments are completed (superannuation, payroll tax, WorkCover and PAYG)Month end processing of payroll reports and journalsMaintenance of work cover policies and declarationsContribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processesPayroll systems testings for any changes that have a direct impact to payroll processingAdhoc requests as requiredTo Succeed With Us:3 to 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG or similar industry.iChris or Chris21 experience.Strong technical and practical payroll skills ideally gained through working in a medium sized organisation with various awards, great attention to details and intermediate excel skills.Ability to navigate through complexities of award agreements and manual processes.Ability to be flexible and adaptable to deliver on goals, effective communication skills through all levels of the business, well organised and positive customer focused personality and resilient to changing environments and requirements.Proven ability to work effectively autonomously as well as in a team environment, including ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and advisors whilst promoting and supporting change.The Perks We Can Offer:Flexibility and hybrid working arrangementsA collaborative, inclusive and engaging culture with a genuine commitment to our peopleWellbeing days to put yourself first and rechargeReward & Recognition program to acknowledge the hard-work and dedication of our teamsBi-monthly Townhalls to bring our teams together and drive engagement12 weeks paid parental leave for primary carersAccess to Benestar a complimentary counselling service available 24/7 to our teamsAccess to complimentary annual Vaccination shots and skin checksWe are gearing up for a big year and exciting times ahead.
