Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, this position will suit an Electrical Engineer experienced within a fixed plant ore processing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the OPF and CHF plants are electrically operational to achieve reliable throughputProvide technical support to all plant faults and break down eventsWork closely with Operations and Maintenance teams on breakdowns by providing specialist technical supportLiaise with Operations and Maintenance teams to identify and implement improvement opportunitiesPerform root cause analysis and mitigate reoccurrence of breakdownManage small to medium size projects and overlook project deliveryMonitor Asset Management KPI''s, identify gaps in performance and recommend actions to resolveQualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualification in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 3 - 5 years experience preferably in Fixed Plant Ore ProcessingProven experience with leading root cause analysis investigationsDetailed knowledge of principles and concepts related to operating and maintaining Fixed Plant and HV reticulation assetsPrevious experience with VSDs, protection relays and power system analysisExperience working with control systems, switchgear, instrumentation, HV/LV motors, variable speed drives, protection relays and PLC''sDemonstrated competency in the use of SAPAbout UsBe part of something big.
