Enforcement Services are future focused and build and maintain systems, tools and capabilities to deliver on strategic goals and ensure regulatory teams have the resources needed to meet the challenges ahead.The roleAs an Enforcement Data Analyst, you will investigate blockchain and DeFi cases involving illicit crypto and digital assets use, including fraud, asset misappropriation, fund flows, and corruption.You Will Be Responsible ForAnalysing customer account data, transactions, attributes, and public information to assess activity and identify related entities.Providing technical advice, guidance, and analytical support to investigation and supervision teams, considering strategic impact and legal challenges.Communicating analytical findings, and articulate investigative steps through reports, briefings, presentations, and data visualisations.Identifying opportunities to innovate and improve processes to boost crypto and digital asset tracing in Enforcement Services.Collaborating with other ASIC teams to improve regulatory outcomes efficiently.About YouWith your demonstrated experience using blockchain analytics and transaction tracing tools, you will have the technical expertise and specialist skills to conduct investigations into the illicit use of crypto digital assets and assist ASIC in achieving impactful outcomes.
