Enforcement Services are future focused and build and maintain systems, tools and capabilities to deliver on strategic goals and ensure regulatory teams have the resources needed to meet the challenges ahead.The roleAs an Enforcement Data Analyst, you will investigate blockchain and DeFi cases involving illicit crypto and digital assets use, including fraud, asset misappropriation, fund flows, and corruption.You Will Be Responsible ForAnalysing customer account data, transactions, attributes, and public information to assess activity and identify related entities.Providing technical advice, guidance, and analytical support to investigation and supervision teams, considering strategic impact and legal challenges.Communicating analytical findings, and articulate investigative steps through reports, briefings, presentations, and data visualisations.Identifying opportunities to innovate and improve processes to boost crypto and digital asset tracing in Enforcement Services.Collaborating with other ASIC teams to improve regulatory outcomes efficiently.About YouWith your demonstrated experience using blockchain analytics and transaction tracing tools, you will have the technical expertise and specialist skills to conduct investigations into the illicit use of crypto digital assets and assist ASIC in achieving impactful outcomes. Your experience includes strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to assess and analyse large amounts of data.You Will Also DemonstrateKnowledge of the technology and blockchain architecture underlying digital asset products.Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.Chainalysis Reactor, TRM Labs or similar certification preferred.Ability to work flexibly and independently with limited supervision, managing competing priorities and being accountable for outcomes.View the position description for more information or click apply'' to start your application.Applications close at 11:59pm AEDT, 9 June 2025.About ASICASIC''s remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
