Youll lead multiple teams, work closely with council and commercial clients, and ensure operational success across all sites.About the RoleThis is a full-time, hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic field-based environment. As Area Manager, youll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service delivery across your zone from scheduling and compliance to staff development and client engagement.Youll work closely with the General Manager and play a critical role in supporting team leaders and crews on the ground.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and support multiple landscape maintenance teams working across the Caboolture area.Prepare and manage weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.Monitor crew performance, job progress, and ensure services meet client expectations.Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and drive continuous improvement.Run regular toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with WHS, SWMS, and site-specific risk controls.Manage client relationships through clear communication and site visits.Assist in quoting additional works, identifying upsell opportunities, and promoting site improvements.Ensure equipment, machinery, and vehicles are maintained and available for operational use.Collaborate with the GM to manage staffing levels, team structure, and recruitment needs in your region.Report on KPIs, progress, and any issues using our digital reporting systems.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and organised leader with excellent communication and coordination skills. You must be able to build strong relationships with your team and clients, and have the foresight to plan and adapt across a wide range of daily challenges.RequirementsCertificate III in Parks & Gardens or equivalent (Cert IV or Diploma desirable).Minimum 5 years experience in landscape maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or area manager role.Strong understanding of grounds maintenance practices including turf care, hedging, pruning, weed control, fertilising, and irrigation.Demonstrated experience managing multiple teams or service crews across multiple sites.Advanced time management, scheduling, and delegation skills.Proven ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.Sound knowledge of WHS obligations and experience managing safety onsite.Experience using digital job scheduling and reporting platforms (e.g. Arborgold, iAuditor, or similar).ACDC Licence and Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain).Manual drivers licence (essential).Whats On OfferFully maintained company vehicle, fuel card, phone, laptop/iPad.Monday to Friday role with some flexibility for site needs.Structured support and ongoing training from a progressive leadership team.Be part of a growing company with opportunities for career progression.Work close to home in the Caboolture region with a locally based team.Why Join Lush Green?Were a locally owned and operated business with a focus on long-term growth, staff development, and quality outcomes.
