You will work across the business, owning workforce planning, utilisation, project financial reporting, and managing the internal workforce to optimise resourcing across all projects and internal activities.This role offers a unique opportunity for a highly organised professional with a background in consulting workforce planning to make a real impact. If you''re a self-starter who thrives on implementing initiatives and driving change, we want to hear from you.About the role:Workforce PlanningPlan, schedule & review the pipeline to ensure optimal workforce allocationMeet with Engagement Leads and Account Managers to understand resourcing issues, or roadblocks to support or escalateUnderstand resourcing requirements for new opportunities and propose resourcing options based on available consultants and skillsDevelop and maintain workforce forecasting models to predict future upskilling or hiring requirementsConfirm renewals/extensions of existing contracts to understand utilisation and availability of consultants and initiate planning with Managers for consultants becoming availableUtilisation of WorkforceManage utilisation to agreed targets, working with Directors to ensure ownership and accountability for their teamsLead the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimising workforce efficiency to meet the demands of the organisationGenerate regular reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making, communicating the key workforce insights and recommendationsManage available consultants to assign to billable work, or otherwise assign activities to action from the backlog of internal initiativesMonitor and manage project financials to ensure profit margins and met/exceeded, including change requests, effective utilisation, allocation of the team across projects, forecasting requirements, and planning for changes aligned to skills, changes, and overall optimisation of FAIR''s financial performanceUnderstand workforce variations in planned to actuals and impactsEnd-to-end project financial managementInternal Workforce / PMO ManagerManage Consultants Project onboarding and offboarding processesRegularly review the internal task board and consult with the project delivery team managers for backlog grooming and set the prioritiesWork with the delivery team to understand their requirements to develop templates or artifacts that can improve project deliveryWork with other support departments like Marketing, HR and Recruitment in helping them create templates, artifacts, blogs, case studies and customer profilesWork with the PMO Delivery head to set up a project governance structure, policies, and practices for project deliveryAbout you:3+ years of workforce and/or Project management experienceBusiness analysis background would be advantagousExperience in workforce management of technical team membersHave strong financial acumen with experience in managing project financial operationsBe operationally minded with the ability to think outside the square to streamline processes and improve efficiencyOnly Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this roleDesired Skills:Proficiency in Slack, JIRA, and the Google SuiteHave a high level of proficiency in using financial and operational software to streamline processes and enhance efficiencyOur Culture:Whats most important at FAIR?We live and breathe our core values of honesty, integrity, transparency and loyaltyWhat drives us?Our passion for IT innovation and delivering quality customer outcomesWere collaborative, proactive and supportiveWhat do we look for?Ambition and drive in outstanding individuals who have chosen their professions out of interest and joy before anything elseIf this resonates with you, we should be talking!
