Based in Port Macquarie or surrounding suburbs, you will be instrumental in overseeing CAPEX programs across Northern New South Wales.Location: Work from home | Port Macquarie & Surrounding Suburbs, NSWCompany Vehicle + Fuel Card + Laptop + Phone providedDirect Reports: Site Supervisors, Tradespeople, and SubcontractorsResponsibilities include:Lead and manage refurbishment projects from inception to completion.Oversee project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.Supervise and coordinate site supervisors, tradespeople, and subcontractors.Prepare project quotes using estimating software such as Cubit.Create and manage project plans using MS Project.Review project scope, schedule deliverables, and estimate costs.Manage all onsite and offsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying and securing future work opportunities.Lead and motivate project teams, including supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring effective programme management.Manage project schedules, financials, risks, and work health and safety (WHS) on-site.REQUIREMENTSDegree or Diploma in Construction Project Management.Experience in refurbishment projects, particularly in aged care and retirement living.Proficiency in MS Project and estimating tools like Cubit.Strong ability to prepare and manage quotes for new work.Background as a tradesperson or possession of a builders licence (preferred).Proficiency in using MS Projects, Pronto, Procore, Rapid Induct, Cubit, SharePoint for job management.Valid drivers license and valid working rights in Australia.Ability to obtain police clearance.Covid vaccinated and willing to get flu vaccination annually.Additional benefits include:Company Vehicle, Fuel Card provided.Collaborative and supportive team environment.Hybrid role and work-life balance.Access to our Study Assistance Program to support ongoing learning.Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for wellbeing and mental health support.Rewards and Recognition Program to celebrate achievements and milestones.Annual remuneration reviews.Opportunities for internal career development and progression.Company-provided uniform, laptop, and phone.We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
