How you will make a contribution: The Procurement Manager role at Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA) is a pivotal leadership position responsible for developing, driving, and executing procurement-led strategic initiatives. This role requires leadership within the Procurement team and across the wider organization. The successful candidate will act with integrity, professionalism, and commitment, managing cross-functional teams to achieve aligned business goals. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy: Provide visionary leadership to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Drive initiatives to enhance procurement processes and outcomes. Stakeholder Management: Offer comprehensive commercial advice to stakeholders based on sound knowledge and experience, enabling informed decisions. Market Insights: Bring external insights into the markets SDA operates in. Identify drivers to mitigate inflationary pressures and lead projects supporting financial performance targets. Sustainability and Risk Management: Ensure procurement practices meet commercial, operational, and sustainability objectives while minimizing risks. Category Management: Develop and deploy category plans for Utilities, Corporate Services, and Marketing spend categories. Responsibilities include: Conduct spend analysis and market research for innovation and cost savings. Identify, assess, and mitigate business risks. Lead supplier selection, RFPs, and negotiations for optimal outcomes. Manage supplier relationships and ensure contract compliance. Track and report on category and supplier performance. Develop budget guidance and support the annual Business Plan. A key aspect of the role is to support renewable and non-renewable procurement strategies aligned with Australian regulatory requirements and Saputo Dairy Australia''s sustainability goals outlined in the Saputo Promise Report. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree Experience: At least 5 years of procurement experience, including 3 years in a large, complex organization. Experience in developing leading-edge procurement strategies across various categories. Experience in implementing procurement systems and sourcing tools. This role provides scope to expand procurement skills, with a focus on engaging and presenting to senior stakeholders.
