We are on the lookout for a creative individual to join our team and help us bring our visual concepts to life.The Project Officer, Visual Communications is responsible for ensuring the professionalism and accessibility of materials produced by ECSA for external audiences. Primarily, this role will focus on delivering specialised end-to-end graphic design services for the 2026 state and local government elections while providing substantial support for corporate communications efforts.Reporting to Manager Communications and Engagement, key responsibilities will include:Developing a diverse range of easy-to-read design products aimed at encouraging voting and informing the community about how to vote, including guides, flyers, brochures, online content, templates, presentations, illustrations, graphics and animations.Contributing to a major overhaul of the ECSA website, including a redesign of the visual look of the website, as well as a review of the content presentation and structure.Designing attractive and engaging images and content for ECSAs social media channels.Preparing a diverse range of design solutions to assist the agency in meeting its corporate and business-as-usual communications objectives, including reports, web content, icons, graphs, and social media graphics.Proactively capturing high-quality photographs of all significant ECSA events and building a comprehensive photo library for use in future publications.Undertaking administrative support for Communications and Engagement communications outputs as required, which may include liaison with external stakeholders.Applications are encouraged from individuals with extensive experience in delivering high-quality, timely concept development, graphic design, and multimedia services, and who are skilled in using technical software such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.This role requires advanced visual communication skills, including the ability to interpret creative briefs, think flexibly and innovatively, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
