Be part of something bigger at Suncorp.Were looking for a people-focused Claims Advisor to join our Adelaide-based team.In this role, youll support individuals during a difficult time managing personal injury claims with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.Youll work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure each claim progresses smoothly, with a real focus on quality service over volume.What youll doProvide exceptional, empathetic service to customers during what can be a challenging and emotional time.Proactively engage with claimants, often over the phone, to guide them through the claims process with clarity, care, and professionalism.Manage personal injury claims from lodgement through to resolution, ensuring compliance with legislative and procedural guidelines.Collaborate with Injury Management Advisors, Technical Advisors, and internal teams like Fraud and Recoveries to develop effective claim strategies.Review medical, financial, and investigative reports to assess claim progress and costs.Maintain accurate, proactive file management to meet timeframes and organisational standards.Use delegated authority to make timely decisions aligned with claim outcomes.Identify opportunities to improve claims processes and participate in continuous professional development.Support and contribute to a positive team environment through knowledge sharing and active participation.What youll bringA strong customer focus with the ability to support people through challenging situationsClear and professional communication skills both written and verbalClaims or insurance experience is beneficial but not essential - we also value experience in customer-focussed or office-based rolesStrong time management and organisational skillsAttention to detail to interpret reports and documentationA collaborative, team oriented approachWillingness to learn and build knowledge in personal injury and insurance legislationAdaptability and proactive attitude in a fast-paced environmentThis is a permanent full-time role based in Adelaide. Youll work from our office full-time during training, with the option to move to hybrid (2 days in office) after the first couple of months.
