Nexist Accounting is seeking a dynamic bookkeeper to join their team. We are an accounting consulting practice advising businesses in Australia. If you are looking for a challenge and able to work under the guidance of a CFO then this role would be ideal for you.TasksEssential duties:Working closely with the CFO and clients, you will be responsible for delivering high quality financial reporting and providing critical insights to influence commercial outcomes. Specifically, your role will include:Assisting in the preparation of the monthly accountsAd hoc analysis and projectsBAS, Payroll, End of Month Accounts, Bank recs, and general BookkeepingClient and practice bookkeeping tasksAccounts Receivables and PayablesPreparation and completion of Business Activity StatementsProduce financial reports using XeroEnd to end payroll processingCustomer serviceRequirementsThe Successful ApplicantThe successful applicant will hold a qualification in bookkeeping or accounting and have sound experience in a complex commercial organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills should be good, allowing you to portray confidence in delivery of your reports and in the development of strong professional relationships with those within and outside of the finance team.Youll be an effective communicator enabling you to follow up with customers on a regular basis. This will include being effective in communicating (over the phone and via emails) with the customers in relation to accounts receivables and various other aspects of the job.Youll have a great attention to detail and are very effective in taking and following instructions.
