Job Description: Head of Controlling - Animal Health ANZ at Boehringer IngelheimJoin us to apply for the Head of Controlling - Animal Health ANZ role at Boehringer Ingelheim.The PositionReporting to the Head of Finance & Administration ANZ, this full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to join our high-performing team.We seek an emerging leader with an innovative spirit to support our animal health business in achieving its ambitions, challenging the status quo, and improving processes.The Head of Controlling, AH ANZ, will provide financial assessments related to strategic direction, identify potential issues, and maintain awareness of industry trends to benefit the business/division. A key aspect of this role is to understand and articulate complex financials clearly, facilitating understanding across the organization.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAct as a financial business partner for the animal health division, advising on financial impacts of initiatives and liaising with management.Manage financial planning processes, including Outlook and LTF, ensuring data accuracy in systems.Oversee internal reporting activities: month-end close, income statements, analysis, accruals, and results review.Support external reporting: year-end close, statutory accounts, transfer pricing, and segmentation.Engage with regional stakeholders and participate in cross-functional projects.RequirementsBachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration or equivalent.CPA/CA qualification.Extensive experience in commercial/business controlling or FP&A, with a minimum of 8 years in corporate roles.Strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and excellent communication skills.Stakeholder influence and relationship-building abilities.Strong business acumen and data analytics skills.International experience and exposure to FMCG/pharmaceutical industries are preferred.Why Boehringer Ingelheim?Our workplace fosters creativity and growth, supporting your career development from the outset.
