About The Role BDO''s Risk Advisory Team offers comprehensive risk solutions to help clients navigate challenges, changes, and opportunities. Services include: Internal Audit Outsourced Risk Management Process Mapping and Control Remediation Risk Workshops Risk Consulting Third Party Assurance About The Opportunity As a Senior Consultant in Risk Advisory, you will collaborate with Partners and Senior Management to deliver internal audits, management reviews, and client advice. The role offers variety, autonomy, client contact, and direct Partner interaction and coaching. What Youll Be Doing Deliver internal audits, business risk assurance, and process improvement projects, including report writing and client communication. Recommend policy, procedural, process, system, and control improvements. Participate in business development activities like networking, proposal drafting, and pitching. Prepare scoping documents, project reports, and assist in developing new methodologies. Assist with scheduling and contribute to junior staff development. Maintain client relationships and identify future business opportunities. About You Ideal candidates will have experience in Internal Audit or Risk Consulting, with: An accounting or business degree and relevant certifications (e.g., CAANZ, IIA) Knowledge of internal audit and risk management standards (IIA, ISO31000) Experience with audits, risk assessments, and frameworks, especially in the public sector Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, TechOne) Additional desired skills include strong communication, attention to detail, analytical skills, independence, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
