Our rapidly expanding company is currently seeking a suitably qualifiedSenior Remedial Consultantto join our Sydney or Melbourne team.Overview:If you possess a strong construction background with a deep understanding of old and new building detailing and the experience to identify the cause of the issues that buildings tend to experience, there''s an exciting opportunity awaiting you. Working as part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to develop wholistic remedial solutions on a variety of projects. Your extensive remedial experience will be comprehensive and all-encompassing with a solid understanding of all facets including structural elements, hydraulic systems, waterproofing, roof cladding, timber roof structures, and bricklaying.The Role:The primary functions of the role include but are not limited to:Conduct detailed investigations of existing structures.Prepare high-quality written reports.Develop robust remediation and repair solutions.Work closely with internal drafting department to deliver high-quality tender documentation.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and contractors.Ensure projects meet the highest safety and quality standards.Skills and Personal Attributes:Degree Qualified (Bachelor of Engineering Civil/ Structural or Diploma of Building and Construction or similar).Minimum 8 years remedial and/ or experience gained within a consultancy environment preferred.Proven experience in remedial investigation or structural repair.Strong technical knowledge of materials, construction methods, and structural.Demonstrated experience in report writing.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfident presenting information and installing confidence to Stakeholders.Must demonstrate initiative and be a team player.Proven track record of working to tight deadlines and within budget.Experience in the use of software such as Microsoft Office.Soft skills in electronic or hand drafting.Drivers License.Rewards:Great range of benefits including competitive salary based on experience.Friendly, supportive and experienced team environment.Professional development and advancement prospects.To be considered for this position you must be anAustralian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
