This is a strategic role within a fast-paced, collaborative finance team, ideal for a commercial finance professional ready to drive outcomes and influence decision-making at an executive level.About the Company:The organisation is undergoing an exciting transformation, with a renewed focus on commercial excellence, operational efficiency, and a performance-driven culture. With a flat finance structure and a strong track record of internal development, the business offers significant visibility, influence, and genuine career growth.About the Role: Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, the Commercial Finance Manager will:Act as a true business partner across key retail functions.Deliver insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including the CEO.Lead on pricing optimisation, promotional performance, spend analysis, labor modeling, and profitability reviews.Engage hands-on with Power BI, Excel models, and financial data, while working closely with commercial analysts and key stakeholders.Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and commercial innovation across the finance team and wider business.This is not a people management role initially, but it is suited to someone seen as a future leader who can step up and lead through expertise and influence.Ideal Candidate Profile:Prior experience at the Commercial Finance Manager level, ideally within retail, FMCG, or product driven sectors.Strong technical and analytical capabilities with the ability to communicate commercial insights effectively.Hands-on proficiency with Power BI and advanced Excel.Proven track record of influencing non-finance stakeholders and delivering measurable impact.Commercial mindset with agility to thrive in a fast-moving, data-rich environment.The Package:Base salary from $170,000 - $180,000 + Super + BonusHybrid working: 3+ days in the North Sydney office, flexible working for the remaining days.Clear path to future leadership, with exposure to senior decision-makers.Why This Role?
