The role reports to a Senior Legal Counsel and will involve working alongside senior lawyers and supporting portfolio managers to help shape the investment strategy and to ensure the funds investment objectives are realised, protected, and conducted appropriately.The focus will be on fund investment related matters and direct investment work.Key responsibilitiesDrafting and negotiating commercial agreements and fund related documentation, IMAs and service agreementsManaging legal workstreams for direct infrastructure transactions and direct debt transactionsSupporting the broader team on M&A and JV activityProviding advice in connection with regulations, legislation, and regulatory reformResearch, and providing training to the businessManaging external legal counselThis is an exciting role for an engaging and commercially astute M&A or Funds lawyer keen to develop their career with experienced legal and investment teams.Experience and familiarity within a commercial investment and/or finance environment would be well-regarded.
