We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Director to manage and oversee a well-established Childcare Centre located approximately 172 km west of Rockhampton and 40 km from the town of Baralaba.This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in a welcoming regional community, making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families, and staff.Key Responsibilities:Lead the overall administration and daily operations of the CentreDevelop, implement, and monitor high-quality early childhood development programsMaintain and review Centre policies and practices to ensure compliance and best practiceRecruit, induct, and support Centre staff, fostering a positive and professional cultureIdentify training needs and support the professional development of the teamEnsure accurate and up-to-date record keeping and manage day-to-day financesEnsure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirementsLiaise with management on budgeting and operational planningAbout YouDiploma in Early ChildhoodStrong knowledge of Early Childhood Development and curriculum programmingDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a cohesive teamExcellent organisational and administrative skills, including budget planningFamiliarity with the Child Care Act 2002, Child Care Regulations 2003, and amendmentsUnderstanding of and sensitivity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communitiesCurrent First Aid certification and willingness to administer first aid as requiredCurrent Blue CardCurrent Class C QLD drivers licence and the ability to travel as needed.About UsWith offices in Cairns and Townsville, Precruitment is Regional Queenslands leading recruitment consultancy, specialising in permanent and temporary roles.
