RSPCA Victorias values of Clarity, Accountability, Respect, Consideration, Expertise and Collaboration set clear expectations for all our staff and volunteers as they work together, and with the community.About The RoleReporting to the Op Shop Network Manager, the Op Shop Store Manager is responsible for leading a team of volunteers and overseeing the daily operation of the store to ensure its profitability, sustainability and positive presence within the local community.Duties And ResponsibilitiesManage, lead and develop a team of volunteers to the highest levels of performance and engagement.Provide leadership and support in the management of the Op Shops operations including overseeing pricing, maximising profitability and achieving sales targets.Provide a high level of service to customers to resolve customer queries and complaintsPositively represent RSPCA Victoria in the local community.Lead effective and efficient stock management, visual merchandising and high-level retail operationsProvide support to the Op Shop Network Coordinator in the improvement of internal processes and proceduresManage the recruitment and induction of volunteers to ensure that the store has the appropriate resources in place to achieve their goals.Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.Assist with ensuring a safe working environment whereby volunteers perform their duties safely and adhere to all WH&S policies and procedures.What We Are Looking For From YouPrevious experience in retail management and leadership, ideally within an op-shop environmentAbility to some weekendsPrevious experience working with and managing volunteers.Previous experience in a similar role that requires strong administration, customer service and organisational skillsDemonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and challenging work environmentAbility to work as part of collaborative teamHigh level literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skillsWhat''s on offer?Access to a range of mental health and wellbeing supportive initiatives; including confidential counselling services and education programsGenerous discounts on products and services, including Royal Canin pet food, Hush Puppies footwear, Bupa healthcare and RSPCA Victoria retailRecruitment RequirementsWillingness to undergo a National Police CheckValid drivers license.How To ApplyTo learn more about this job opportunity, please visit our website at rspcavic.org and download the Position Description for more details.
