Senior Project Engineer Offshore Mooring & InstallationPerth, WA | National and Offshore Travel Required | Full-Time EmploymentDelmar Systems is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our APAC team based in Perth. This role will suit an experienced engineer with a background in offshore mooring, subsea installation, or marine construction, who is looking to take a lead role in the planning and execution of complex offshore projects.We are particularly interested in candidates who have strong operational experience and a sound understanding of how engineering decisions translate to offshore execution.We are also open to candidates with Project Manager-level experience who bring a strong technical background and are comfortable overseeing both engineering and execution phases of offshore scopes.About the RoleYou will be responsible for delivering engineering scopes related to offshore mooring systems, supporting both front-end design and offshore installation phases. This includes developing technical documentation, preparing for offshore campaigns, and working closely with the operations team to ensure safe and effective execution.The role offers a balance of office-based engineering and offshore involvement, and would suit someone who enjoys applying their technical skills in practical, real-world environments.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering design and analysis for offshore mooring and marine installation projects.Preparation of operational procedures, installation drawings, and equipment mobilisation plans.Technical support during offshore operations including mooring installation, hookup, recovery and rig moves operationsLiaising with internal teams, clients, and third-party contractors to align project delivery with operational requirements.Participation in risk assessments, R&D initiatives, and ongoing process improvements.Candidate RequirementsDegree in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Subsea, or related discipline).Minimum 5 years experience in offshore engineering, ideally within mooring, marine construction, or subsea installation.Proven involvement in offshore operations is essential.Proficient with engineering software such as OrcaFlex, AQWA, and GMOOR.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.Why Delmar?Delmar Systems is a global leader in mooring solutions, known for our technical expertise and operational track record.
