At the centre of big ideas.Seeking passionate experts in IR, bargaining, and strategic stakeholder adviceShape industrial strategy in a high-impact, whole-of-government roleMultiple ongoing Clerk Grade 9/10 roles based in Martin Place, Sydney CBDAbout the RoleThe Bargaining and Legal Strategy team is seeking to fill multiple Senior Associate positions on an ongoing and temporary basis in the Industrial Relations Branch within the People and Workforce Group.The Senior Associate, Bargaining and Legal Strategy plays a critical role in shaping and supporting whole-of-government industrial relations strategies. The position provides high-quality, timely, and strategic advice on bargaining and industrial relations issues that directly influence government priorities and organizational outcomes. You will analyze complex industrial matters, identify risks and opportunities, and develop practical solutions that deliver positive results across the public sector.To learn more about the role, please review the Role Description.We''re looking for candidates with:Strong knowledge of industrial relations frameworks, including legislation, government policies, and industrial instruments.Ability to provide high-quality, timely advice on complex bargaining and industrial issues that align with government priorities.A proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities and developing solutions to mitigate risks and achieve outcomes.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and informative reports, briefs, and correspondence.Strong skills in building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the public sector.Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.We value diverse experiences.
