With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world''s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:Arcadis is looking for Principal/Lead road designers to be part of major D&C Tender Design projects expected during the second half of 2025. The projects involve High Speed Motorways and Major Urban Arterials.Role accountabilities:Manage, plan, resource, and complete the assigned delivery of the Road Design component of projects within agreed budgets and deadlines.Identify, communicate, and collaborate with the team to resolve technical road design issues.Ensure the production of accurate, clear, and concise project documents that comply with best practices and quality standards.Maintain ongoing communication with Project Managers, Team Leaders, and clients as needed to ensure effective project communication.Provide direction and technical guidance to the road design team.Assist with developing road design systems for infrastructure projects.Coordinate information exchange protocols between delivery partners.Qualifications & Experience:A passion for impact, innovation, and improving work processes.A relevant degree or qualification in Civil Engineering.Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads.Experience in delivering major road infrastructure projects.Knowledge of Austroads Guide to Road Design; NZTA standards are desirable.Knowledge of local authority CADD standards (e.g., TfNSW, VICRoads, QLD TMR).Why Arcadis?We empower everyone to be their best, fostering a skill-based approach to career development.
