Senior SHE Business PartnerWeir MineralsArtarmonPurpose of Role:The Senior SHE Business Partner is responsible for fostering a strong safety, health, and environmental culture within the organization. This role involves collaborating strategically with business units to ensure compliance with Weir Group SHE standards and relevant regulations.The successful candidate will exemplify best practices, promote continuous improvement, and serve as a mentor and leader to SHE Business Partners, including planning and guiding their activities.Additionally, the role requires working on a rotating shift roster to ensure coverage across various operational shifts, including mornings and evenings.Key Responsibilities:Safety First: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to zero harm principles and support the development of a safety-centric culture.Develop and implement strategic SHE initiatives aligned with business goals.Provide functional support and advisory services to Business Units at the Artarmon site.Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations at local, state, and federal levels.Conduct audits and inspections, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.Train people leaders in ICAM or equivalent incident investigation methodologies.Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and ensure corrective measures are taken.Qualifications and Experience:Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Minimum of 5 years experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, or mining environments, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.Qualification in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.Strong knowledge of SHE regulations and standards.Why Choose Weir:Be part of a global organization committed to building a better future: Weir is dedicated to innovating and adapting in a rapidly changing world, focusing on sustainable resource access and responsible operations.An opportunity for personal growth: Weir offers a dynamic environment where employees can take on new challenges, explore different areas, and tailor their careers.Feel empowered and included: Weir promotes a welcoming, inclusive culture that values contribution, wellbeing, and authenticity.
