Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting Zenith Energys operations, projects, and strategic initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive legal professional to work at the forefront of the energy transition.Description:About The RoleZenith Energy seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to offer high-quality, commercially viable legal advice and support on various legal matters impacting the business.Responsibilitieswill include but are not limited to:Leading and supporting the legal drafting of contracts and agreements to comply with best practice and with Zeniths contracting and procurement procedures.Supporting negotiations on Power Purchase Agreements with Zeniths Clients.Providing legal/contracts advice and support to business unit managers and project/operations managers for new projects and existing operations, including on managing contract claims, variations, and disputes. Assist with resolving disputes between the Company and clients/subcontractors.Negotiating Contract Terms & Conditions with large vendors by value and risk.Working with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate representation and visibility of commercial matters, including supporting the preparation of Category Strategies, Contracting Plans, ITT/RFQs, Authority for Contract Execution, Negotiation Plans, Tender Evaluation Plans, Contract Variations, and other approval documents associated with the contracting lifecycleAbout YouAs theSenior Legal Counsel,you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.Bachelor''s degree in LawAdmitted to practice and hold an unrestricted legal practising certificate from the Legal Practice Board of Western Australian (or equivalent jurisdiction)A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a legal role within a law firm or in-house environment is required.
