Daily Mail Australia Sydney, New South Wales, Australia2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsAs a Head of Sales you will manage and oversee the national sales operation within Daily Mail Australia.Design and formalise plans to meet revenue targets, develop and maintain relationships with clients while evaluating costs for selling Daily Mails product suite. You will help accelerate digital revenue through your knowledge of the digital marketplace and ability to execute a strategic plan to expand our client portfolio.Key responsibilities:Directly lead, coach and motivate the national sales team to drive positive business outcomesand to consistently achieve monthly sales targetsMaintain a high-performance culture of collaboration and creativity to ensure commercial business goals are metDrive innovation and exceptional customer service amongst your sales teamInterpret industry trends and guide the national sales team to deliver creative concepts to meet client expectationsWork with department managers to ensure cross team collaboration and key business goals are metDevelop and assist the national sales team with go-to-market strategies/decks, opportunities and solutions for Daily Mail Australia.Oversee weekly forecasting to ensure direct revenue forecasts are metUnderstand category-specific landscapes and trendsIdentify opportunities for new business growthWork with the sales and product teams to proactively develop timely and relevant opportunities with new, creative and sellable ideas.Work with the Managing Director to develop and initiate revenue growth strategiesProvide market insights and strategic advice to guide and maintain the performance of the companyPresent strategies and results covering, revenue (direct/indirect) to the Managing DirectorProduce quarterly business sales plans to articulate your upcoming activity along with an action plan as to how you will achieve your sales targetsSkills & experience:A minimum eight years in digital media salesMinimum five years'' in leading a sales teamDemonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with current and prospective clients, including negotiating and closing on major contractsA proven track record of successfully managing a direct sales team and achieving sales goalsThe ability to develop and implement effective national sales strategies, considering market trends and competitive landscapeA deep understanding of business principles, sales processes, and financial metrics to drive sales and profitabilityAnalytical mind-set with experience in generating insightful business reportsThis is an exciting opportunity to join Daily Mail Australia and we are looking for someone who is ambitious and who can support our growth and business objectives.
